A notebook made with illustrator makitoy, who has continued the Daily Drawing project — one drawing every day — since 2019. After filling dozens of notebooks over the years, makitoy put all that know-how into this one. Use it for drawing, collage, journaling, and more!
Fill one notebook in 31 days. Big goals are made of small achievements. Pick a keyword and draw something new each day, write a diary with a photo a day, or draw the same object again and again. Whatever your goal, just try it for 31 days. Then 100 days, half a year, a whole year — the feeling of finishing your first notebook will help you open the next one.
Monthly — 35 squares (7 x 5). Follow the days of the week or start from the first square on the day you begin. Use the grid squares as thumbnails of your daily pages, or for stickers and short notes to track your days. Write the title or keyword of each day on the left list to make your own '31-day table of contents'!
Daily — Grid on the left, blank on the right. Fill the two pages freely: idea sketch + drawing, writing + drawing, drawing + collage… Write the date and title on the top left, and use the line on the bottom right for tracking (n/31) or your signature.
68 pages of light 100g off-white paper, easy to carry anywhere. *Heavy materials like markers may show through.
4 colors chosen by makitoy — cream yellow, blue green, lavender and chocolate. Each is bound with thread in a different color to match the cover. Use a different color every month or quarter — they look even prettier lined up together!
Inside the cover is makitoy's artwork Peace by Piece, where small pieces of paper come together into one work. Find the hidden number '31'!
Precautions
- Due to the manufacturing process, there may be small dots, light dents, slight color bleeding, or cutting errors.
- Slight signs of lines that are used as guides for cutting the pages may be visible.
- Colors might slightly vary from print edition to another.
- Due to the binding, the top and bottom of the fold may split slightly.
- The ends of the binding thread are not fixed, so the thread slipping out by 1–2 holes at the ends is natural for thread binding.
- Once opened, stationery items cannot be returned.
- There may be slight differences in size depending on how it is measured.
- The actual product may differ slightly in color according to the monitor you are viewing from.
